
Maureen Etuket
Maureen is a Biomedical Engineer and Med-Tech innovator with specialty in application of engineering knowledge, entrepreneurship and management principles to solve Global Health Challenges. She has special interest in developing tools for Maternal Health and Emergency Medical Services in the Low Resource Settings. She currently co-directs a not for profit organisation called Pumzi Devices Ug. Ltd focused on employing engineering solutions to solve emergency healthcare challenges; as well as tutors at Ernest Cook Ultrasound Research and Education Institute. She is also pursuing a Masters in Philosophy in Health Innovation at the University of Cape Town with an interest in streamlining the medical device regulatory pathway across Sub-Saharan Africa.
